Hai Lang is eighteen, with dark brown hair and chocolate-colored eyes. He can control others with his mind. Before the supernova, his mom got remarried, and he gained Izach as his stepbrother. Although his mom did not survive the impacts of the supernova, he and Izach lived and were put into Dr. Reed's camp. They have been doing everything they can to protect one another while in the camp, where anyone can be tortured for anything they do wrong. Hai is extroverted, sarcastic, flirty, strong, and very determined. However, he carries immense guilt for not helping his best friend, Brandon, who wanted to escape the camp and ended up dying as a result. As a result, Hai does everything he can to make up for failing Brandon, such as helping Natasha reunite with her sister.
