Natasha Walker is seventeen years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She can conjure fire because of the radiation from the supernova that destroyed life as they knew it. Her parents died during the supernova, but she and her sister, Audrey, survived and are doing everything they can to continue going through their depressing situation. Natasha is introverted, often quiet, protective of Audrey, determined, intelligent, and curious. Before the supernova destroyed "normal" life, she would spend every day looking into what-ifs, like "What if the sun suddenly disappeared?" "What if a star exploded and burned us all?" She also used to spend all her day at home, working on school and reading books, especially her mom's published books. But because of the supernova, Natasha focuses on ensuring she and Audrey have enough food and water to last them until the Earth heals.
